Although it is one of the most punctual airlines in the world, Qatar Airways' flights sometimes get delayed. When they do, their passengers can claim up to 600€ in compensation for their late flight.

As mentioned above, the compensation amount for flight delays is based on the length of the journey, as such:
- 250€ for flights less than 1,500km
- 400€ for intra-community flights and journeys between 1,500 and 3,500km
- 600€ for flights above 3,500km (that are not within EU territories)

Remember that the compensation isn't all you're entitled to, should Qatar Airways cancel your flight. They must also either refund your ticket or rebook you on the next flight to your destination (if there are seats available). This is independant to your right to compensation: you can get both a refund and a 600€ compensation, for instance.
