Because most of LATAM's flights do not include Europe, few of them are with the jurisdiction of EC 261. However, when LATAM does operate flights leaving from Europe, the airline must pay compensation to its passengers when the flight is disrupted.
The maximum dimensions are 21 in (55 cm) x 13 in (35 cm) x 9 in (25 cm) (height, width and depth), including the pockets, wheels and handle.
In addition to your carry-on, you are allowed to bring a personal item (e.g. laptop bag, purse, diaper bag). Dimensions should not exceed 18 in (45 cm) x 14 in (35 cm) x 8 in (20 cm) (length, height and width), since this item should be placed below the seat in front of you.
Your checked luggage should not exceed 23 kg (50 lb) and 158 cm (width + thikness + height).
The amount of checked luggages you are allowed to bring varies depending on the route and the flight class:
